Chunking teacher training into shorter workshops means greater retention of ideas. So we now bring you the Seven Steps in a series of two hour interactive workshops after school.
Roll up your sleeves and learn by doing in these fast moving and fun sessions!
The breakdown can be varied to your school. Here is just one example:
- Day 1: Step 2 - Sizzling Starts + Step 3 - Tightening Tension + Planning
- Day 2: Step 1 - Planning + NAPLAN techniques + Step 4 - Dynamic Dialogue
- Day 3: Step 5 - Show don't Tell + Step 6 - Ban the Boring + Step 7 - Ending with Impact
Alternatively book a workshop in the afternoon and follow it with student modelling in the following days to reinforce in the classroom.
The workshops cover ALL text types, including persuasive, informative, recount and narrative.
