Working with educational organisations
Department of Education in NSW and SA: Seven Steps is proud to help schools lift writing outcomes across the states as a:
- NESA recognised PD provider in NSW
- Approved on the Online Learning Tools Marketplace catalogue in NSW
- Preferred supplier of professional learning in South Australia.
Department of Education Victoria – Schools Workforce Initiative: We supported the Victorian Department of Education with their efforts to upskill returning teachers as part of the Returning Teacher Support Service (RTSS) and Teacher Re-Engagement Initiative (TREI). Together, we provided more than 400 teachers access to Seven Steps training and resources.

Catholic Education Tasmania: Through our collaboration with Catholic Education Tasmania, we’ve delivered training and resources to all Catholic Schools in Tasmania in 2022 as part of their Literate Learners for Life initiative.

Collaborating with classroom innovators
Mark My Words: We’ve partnered with Mark My Words to create a new AI-powered assessment tool with features specifically designed for the Seven Steps program. Now accessed through Teacher Hub as part of a Seven Steps membership.

Lawless Learning: We worked with Ben Lawless from Melbourne University to create developmental rubrics for our new AI-powered assessment tool. The rubrics for narrative, persuasive and informative writing outline all the skills students are developing as part of the Seven Steps program and describe growth along a proficiency scale from beginner to advanced.
Hands on Heads: We’ve partnered with literacy consultant, Amanda Sutera, to provide tailored coaching packages, provide ongoing support and help schools implement the Seven Steps program effectively.

Pobble: We’re working with Pobble, a UK-based platform that shares our vision for inspiring great writing. Pobble’s visual writing prompts work well with the Seven Steps approach to help teachers spark motivation, boost creativity and build confidence.
