We are thrilled to announce that Seven Steps to Writing Success has been named Primary Publisher of the Year for the second year running at the prestigious Education Publishing Awards Australia (EPAA)2023! This remarkable achievement fills us with immense joy and pride.
In bestowing the honour, judges highlighted that Seven Steps showed ‘strong evidence of their measurable impact and support for teachers’.
‘We are delighted that we have been recognised for the ‘measurable impact and support for teachers’ that we provide. As a team, we are passionate about making a difference to schools, teachers and students and it is an honour to be named Publisher of the Year (Primary) for the second year running.’
Sarah Bakker, Strategy Manager – Teacher Resources
But the accolades don’t stop there …
NAPLAN Writing Success won Teaching or Reference Resource of the Year (Secondary) and was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the primary category. In a glowing review, the judge wrote:
NAPLAN Writing Success is a new and exciting resource which supports teachers, students, and the school in developing students’ skills so that they achieve success in their writing.
Crafted for NAPLAN, this is an overarching and comprehensive resource which can be used by teachers and students in a diverse range of settings to improve outcomes beyond the NAPLAN parameters and beyond the NAPLAN years.
Moreover, this resource is multi-disciplinary, multi-media, packed full of videos, resources, teacher notes and it is bursting with pedagogical approaches and ideas for engaging and improving student learning.
Hannah Thomas, Seven Steps Training Manager and author of NAPLAN Writing Success, is thrilled by the win:
‘We wanted NAPLAN revision to be fresh and different and to cut teacher prep and planning time – while also being engaging and fun for students.
So we’re delighted to have received this recognition in both the primary and secondary categories as it shows what a difference NAPLAN Writing Success is making in classrooms all over Australia.’
